Oh, j'aime this kitchen. Beaucoup. I love the imperfect aspect of this kitchen, like it did not just came out of a box : the dark velvet impromptu cabinet "doors" that stand against the professional looking stainless steel counter tops, the Jielde sconces and gunmetal colored concrete floors. This is the perfect summer cooking kitchen to me. What do you think?
Added note : I just realized that this amazing kitchen was posted on the blog last year - and did get updated since my last post by these velvet cabinet covers, check it out here! Xo, Si-
lovely indeed!
ReplyDeletepurée moi aussi j'adore!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the floor and the great light fixtures. It does have a summer camp feel.
ReplyDeleteThe kitchen reminds me of the time shortly after my graduation.
ReplyDeleteMy first kitchen looked very similar to that ;-)
Only the floor was made of wood. But this one is more cool.
How cool that you got to show the same kitchen twice... Clever! It looks more "dressed up" with the navy velvet fabric, doesn't it?

The kitchen is cool but Nicolas Matheus' photography is fantastic. I've just clicked the link to his site and been completely blown away.
ReplyDeleteI have always loved kitchen with no upper cabinets. And the countertops are fabulous! But I would really like to know where you found the symbol in the upper left corner. Could you send it to me? Thanks so much.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry divadeb57, this is a photoshop symbol that I use for my "Today I'm loving" and Oh la la j'aime" posts. I can not send this one to you. Thanks for stopping by the blog!
DeleteI love the kitchen!! Rarely do you see the darker skirted fabric!! Wonderful!!
